Aref Ebrahimpour was born on 15.01.1945 in Ardebil (Iran). He had already the musical melodies in his ears as a child because his father was a virtuoso on the instrument Tar. After finishing the elementary school, Aref went to the school of music in Teheran where he learned and studied the violine. 1959 he achieved the first place of the best violinists in the range of iranian schools and aquired an awardness from the former minister of culture Dr. Mehran. In 1963, Aref`s study of music in the suject of violine finished at the faculty of fine arts in Tehran and from that time he began to work as a music teacher radio broadcasting of Tehran. At the same time he worked as a musician by the youth orchestra and ensmble of the folkloure music of Azarbayjan. Because of his profession Aref came with numerous famous musicians and singers of that time. He composed and arranged many peaces and played in different ensembles, wich performed iranian folk and clasical music. In the year of 1988 Aref left Iran and lives since this time in Germany. Aref plays and masters twenty-four music instruments and has arranged and performed numerous concerts in Germany, and Europe and in the USA as well. Further Aref made music albums for a couple of famous iranian singers like Fereshteh and Farzin and played in many recorded CD`s and cassetts published in Europe and the USA. Aref has published his own compositions and arrangements in the album 'Navaye del'. His new Album 'Nawahaye Diare Man' includes an instrumental blend of iranian folkloure music.
